Our doctors are interested in all aspects of General Practice.

Some may have more of an interest in specific areas of general practice; some of which include Women’s health, Men’s health, Adolescent Health, Children’s health, Mental health, Sexual health so please feel at ease to ask our receptionists anytime regarding any appointment you are seeking or go straight to “Our Team” for their individual interests.

Your Prescriptions

All our doctors are registered with “Safe Script”.    They are also registered with Electronic scripts – known as  e Script”, enabling them to e-mail or sms your prescriptions directly to your mobile phone.

Vaccinations

All routine government childhood immunisations are available at Brighton Medical Clinic. Appointments can be booked for our practice nurse directly with reception.

Appointments for travel vaccinations can also be booked with our practice nurse after a travel consultation with your doctor.

All other Immunisations (Government or Private) are available at the clinic, but it is always wise to check first just in case the particular vaccine is nationally out of stock.

All immunisations and vaccinations given at Brighton Medical Clinic are forwarded to the National Immunisation Registry.  If you would like you children’s immunisation recorded in their own “Health Development Record” please remember to bring this with you.

Travel Health

Brighton Medical Clinic is a registered Travel Clinic. All your travel vaccines are available at the clinic, including Yellow Fever (and certification).

Diabetes Clinic

Consultations with our credentialed Diabetic Educator are available to our patients.

Wound Care

Please phone surgery for an appointment with our practice nurse to assist you after initial appointment with your doctor.

Cosmetic Medicine

Botox, Juvederm & Laser.

Skin Check

Skin lesion surveillance and minor lesion removals.

Shared Obstetric Care

In conjunction with Sandringham, Monash and Royal Women’s Hospitals.

Iron Infusions

Your doctor may recommend, if you have been diagnosed deficient in iron, booking for an iron infusion. Your doctor will discuss all the pros and cons, give you a printed information sheet together with a consent form and script for you to get dispensed and bring to your appointment.  Please allow 1 hour for your infusion appointment.

Annual Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management

Home health assessments for patients over the age of 75 years.

Health checks for patients between the ages of 45 – 49 years.

Healthy Heart checks.

Care Plans, Home Medicine Review follow up.
